Morricone + Choir = Gurt LUSH

Ave Maria Guarani

Bristol Beacon, 7th Feb 2015

Italian composer Ennio Morricone may be best known for his soundtracks for spaghetti westerns, but he also wrote music for many other types of film. The Gurt Lush repertoire includes a number of pieces from his score for the 1986 film The Mission, in which 18th century Spanish Jesuits try to protect a remote South American Indian tribe from the danger of slavery under Portuguese rule.
